Between Chairs

Im Sitzen Tanzen oder im Tanzen Sitzen und wenn ja, wie und mit wem ? Und wer sitzt zuerst und schneller und wo sind die fehlenden Gäste?
„Was machst du da? – Ich sitze.“ – so simpel wie bei Loriot ist es in dem Duo „Between chairs“ nicht; mal ist der Stuhl im Weg für den gemeinsamen Tango, manchmal hängt er wie ein lästiges Stück falscher Kleidung einfach zwischen den Tänzern.
Getanzt wird trotzdem – bis die Stühle die Bewegung zur Skulptur einfrieren.

Dancing sitting – or sitting dancing? And if so, with who and how?
And who is sitting first and faster and where are the missing guests?
“What are you doing there? I am sitting.“ – could be as simple as in Loriot`s sketches.
But in “Between Chairs“, the furniture gets constantly in the way of the dancers, be it in the tango or hanging on the body as a wrong piece of clothing.
Anyway the dance finds its path – until the chairs narrow down the dancers movement into a frozen sculpture.
